Where do you start when looking for a wedding dress?
After you’ve had a good look through the bridal magazines, Pinterest-ed yourself into the next day without realising it and worked out the difference between white and ivory, you’ll probably be wondering what’s next. Do I make an appointment with a bridal boutique? Do I look online? What do I do?
A Bridal Stylist will arrange all of these things for you while helping to deliver that dream dress you’ve always wanted. We’ll start with a Style Consultation to discuss your wedding and your dream. We’ll look at factors to consider like body shape, skin tone, weather and price and then we’ll create a plan of exactly where we’ll visit to get what you need. During our shopping session, you’ll try on dresses that feel like you, the only problem you’ll have is working out which one you like most. I’ll help you find the perfect wedding shoe, jewellery and accessories and I can even give you guidance on hair and makeup styles to complete your look.
From booking your bridal try on appointments, to finding the perfect shoes - I’ll look after everything.
How does a bridal personal styling session work?
The Style Consultation
As your Stylist, I’ll be here to help get out on paper your ideas for your wedding dress. We’ll discuss your budget, the location of the wedding, the time in which we have to work with important details like alterations and even custom accessories like veils, crowns, jewellery and shoes.
Even as a bride who’s not sure what she wants, Alarna is there to help guide you towards the right dress designers and wedding boutiques for your needs.
The Concept Meeting
After completing the initial style consultation, we'll create a concept outline and get our list of boutiques and dress try-ons booked in. Many brands and stores have long waiting lists, so with this in mind, Alarna will use her contacts in the industry to get you into your bridal dress shopping sessions as soon as possible.
During this meeting, we will also discuss smaller details like heel height and clutch size, if applicable and Alarna will present her timeline for arranging the dress, accessories and shoes.
Personal Shopping
When all of your appointments are booked in, we'll commence your personal shopping. Starting with the dress and finishing with the accessories and final touches. This part of the package is flexible in time, as you might fall in love with the first dress you try on - or the fifth dress you try! You never know when that special moment will occur.
