Once you've booked, you'll receive your preparation guide and questionnaire to complete before our consultation.
You'll tell me about your lifestyle, personal style, sizing and measurements, budget, the wardrobe area we're focusing on and what you already own. You can also share inspiration and anything you'd particularly like me to consider when building your capsule.
This gives me a clear picture of what your capsule needs to do for you before we meet.

We'll meet via Zoom to talk through your wardrobe needs in more detail.
We'll define the purpose of your capsule, discuss your personal style, fit preferences, budget and any gaps or frustrations you're currently experiencing. We'll also look at how the new pieces need to work with your existing wardrobe.
By the end of our consultation, I'll have a clear brief for your capsule.

This is where I take over.
I'll plan your 15-piece capsule and search suitable online retailers for clothing, shoes and accessories that fit the brief we've created together.
Each recommendation is considered as part of the whole capsule—not simply because it's a good piece on its own—so your new purchases can be mixed, matched and worn in multiple ways.

Once your edit is ready, you'll receive your personalised capsule with ready-to-shop links and recommended sizing, along with your Outfit Lookbook showing 30–40+ ways to wear your pieces.
You'll also receive your personalised styling walkthrough, where I'll explain the choices I've made and how to get the most from your capsule.
Shopping links are time-sensitive: Your capsule is created using current online stock, so items and sizes can sell out. I recommend reviewing and ordering your selections promptly after receiving your edit.

Once most of your purchases have arrived, we'll meet again for your 15-minute Virtual Fitting.
We'll review how your new pieces fit, discuss any alterations or styling questions and make sure you're happy with how your capsule is coming together.

One of my clients came to me needing a capsule wardrobe for a trip two-week to Melbourne.
She wanted to pack light, but she didn't want to feel like she was wearing the same few outfits on repeat. She needed something she could wear during the day, out at night and across changing weather.

Yes. Your Style Consultation takes place via Zoom and your completed Capsule Wardrobe Edit, shopping links, sizing recommendations, Outfit Lookbook and video walkthrough are all delivered digitally. This means you can work with me from anywhere in Australia.

Wardrobe Foundations is designed for you if you're missing the core pieces that make your overall wardrobe work, or feel like you need help across several areas of your lifestyle. It includes Virtual Colour Analysis and a broader 25-piece wardrobe plan.
A Capsule Wardrobe Edit is more focused. It's designed for you if your wardrobe foundations are already working, but you need clothes for one specific part of your life—such as work, weekends, travel, going out or a new season.

No. If you’ve already had analysis, I can take this into consideration when selecting your capsule. If you haven’t, I'll still choose colours that work cohesively together and with the information you provide about your wardrobe and preferences.
If you'd like to understand your best colours in more detail before we build your capsule, you can book a Virtual Colour Analysis separately.

You have up to five item revisions in this service.
So if you don’t like an item, or you decided to think on an item but it sold out before you could buy it, or you’d prefer it in another colour, etc - just hit reply after I send your edit and I’ll send you up to five revised item links.
For Fit Issues: I'll use your measurements alongside available brand sizing and fit information to recommend the size I believe will work best for each piece.
Once most of your purchases have arrived, we'll meet for a 15-minute virtual fitting to review fit, possible alterations and any styling questions. If an item needs to be replaced, you can also use your included revisions where appropriate.

No. The recommendations are yours to choose from and you're in control of what you ultimately purchase. However, I design the capsule as a whole, with each piece selected to work across multiple outfits. Purchasing fewer pieces may reduce the number of outfit combinations you're able to create.

After booking, you'll receive your preparation instructions. I'll ask you to complete information about your measurements, sizing, lifestyle, personal style, wardrobe and the specific area you'd like your capsule to solve so I can prepare for our consultation. You’ll need to submit this to me five days before your session.

Turnaround times are usually within two to three business days. If you have a specific date you would like the edit by, please check with Alarna before booking to ensure she can accommodate you. You can do so via the contact page.

No. The $590 investment covers my styling service, consultation, research and shopping, your personalised Capsule Wardrobe Edit, Outfit Lookbook, sizing recommendations, video walkthrough, revisions and virtual fitting.
The clothing itself is purchased separately by you directly from the retailers I've recommended, giving you control over what you ultimately order and spend.

When we have your Style Consultation we’ll discuss your budget. It doesn’t need to be a fixed amount, sometimes just knowing what brand price points you’re comfortable with is enough information. To determine what budget you’ll need and set a realistic budget for your edit, you can multiply the average cost per item from brands you shop with by 15 to determine a rough budget.
