Why have a personal colour analysis online? Is it more accurate in-person?
Traditional colour analysis had you sitting in a chair while your colour consultant draped you in various warm and cool tones - this is how many people expect to have their colours done and what I offered before discovering how much more clients could get out of an online Colour Analysis.
Having your personal colour analysis completed online versus in person, is not only more convenient for you, but it yields better results. When you book your analysis with me, I'll be studying your colouring in a highly controlled setting, based off specific images you provide in your intake. This allows me to get you clearer results than if we were sitting together in your home with changing light. I love being able to show my clients side-by-side comparisons of their best colours and you’ll see the same when you have your session.
I've designed my personal colour analysis sessions to not only provide you with your unique colour palette, but teach you how to use your best colours and why they're your best colours. I convey all this in a Zoom meeting, leaving out the information irrelevant to you, and keeping only what will help you get the most out of the session.

Common Questions About Colour Analysis
I had my colours done years ago, but I think I want a refresher – will my colours be different?
Your colours can change over the years, especially if your hair colour has changed. Roughly every ten years we notice slight changes in our colours and as we move towards our mature beauty, develop greys and skin changes, you’ll find your colours will change.
I think I’m neutral, but I don’t really know what that means. Can you help?
Yes! Many people believe they’re neutral when they don’t feel they fit perfectly into a colour type, and that can easily cause confusion. In my analysis, we’ll determine if you have neutral skin and provide you with colour solutions for your skin type.
I’ve started developing redness from allergies/skin conditions, will the colour analysis help me pick colours to keep attention away from those areas?
The traditional seasonal colour system didn’t cater to people with skin conditions, which is just silly! Whether it’s dark circles, redness, pigmentation or scarring, in our zoom session, we’ll discuss the best ways to work with your features.
Will this help me pick makeup?
Buying makeup can be just as daunting as trying to pick the right clothes to wear, the colour analysis provides swatches for lipstick and eye makeup colours that will look natural on you and makeup that will make your eyes pop.
I’m a man, can I book a colour analysis?
Of course! With men’s colour analysis, we also take into consideration facial hair. Old colour analysis systems left men out entirely, but modern approaches don’t. Let’s find your best colours together.
Do I get a physical book of colour swatches?
Our colour analysis sessions are online and so are our swatches, meaning we’ll send you a downloadable version of your swatch so you can pull it up on your phone when out shopping, or so you can print your own copy. If you want a physical swatch, these are made to order and shipped at a separate cost to the client.
Do you use Seasonal Colour Analysis?
I have been trained in seasonal colour analysis but have moved to a more extensive and customisable method of analysis called Directional Colour Analysis. If you would like to know your season, I can advise you on this, however, the Colour Analysis sessions I run are more in-depth than seasonal analysis.
I’m based in Sydney; can I book this in person?
If you prefer to meet face to face, the service is the same, except we are unable to record the meeting. We will meet in Sydney CBD after you’ve submitted your intake form and photos and I’ll run through the meeting with my laptop, just as I would if we were meeting online. You’ll be emailed the downloadable palette after the meeting.
I’d like to learn more than my best colours, do you have any packages that include this service?
Yes, the Wardrobe Makeover and Style Makeover service include the Colour Analysis. You can also purchase the Colour Analysis as an add-on for your shopping session.
